Rajkot has given as a lot in terms of monetary, love and prosperity. We are the makers of “Labela Gathiya”. Now, as a 3rd generation I fell it’s the ideal time to give back to the society. Giving back involves giving up many prosper things. They could have chosen to relax at home, sit in front of TV or make more money by business. But, that’s the difference.
Devang Gondhia, a young and element face of Rajkot, decides to do something different along with the family customs. He started a charitable trust named “Spirit of Freedom Charitable Trust”. The members of this trust select an area every Sunday and clean it up. The area they select is mostly not any of the posh areas of the city but, backward areas and ghettos.
Rather than offering money, they are putting forth great administrations like educating underprivileged kids, building play gardens in their areas, arranging free medical camps and bringing all sort of awareness.
For colossal endeavours, the trust is honoured “Swachhata Sainani 2015” by Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chasma team. They also claimed a position in “Asia book of records” for biggest Zumba class which held at Rajkot Police Head Quarter.
