Of the top 12 people in the world, I was invited to the prestigious RC Fellowship program and the 10th Annual Maker Faire, which were both going to take place in Silicon Valley – Bay Area, San Fransisco, California, USA.
I am Nirman Dave, 20 years old, graduated from the Galaxy School system, Rajkot and now engaging myself in an Entrepreneurship course at MIT, Boston, U.S.; and an undergraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence from Hampshire College, Amherst. U.S.
How did this happen?
I was advised not to take higher level maths after year 10 but I took it as a challenge. I wasn’t great with maths, but I always loved it. I loved the idea of tweaking and playing with numbers, the notion that this universal language governed every activity in this world- was absolutely astonishing. I took higher level maths and beat it. I took a gap between my collage and year 12. I studied computer programming and building my own software which can be useful for the society. I have been invited to speak as a key note at many different conferences and colleges such as Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Birla Institute of Technology and Science – Pilani (BITS Pilani), Sri Ram College of Commerce, Nirma University, MICA Ahmedabad, LD College, Gardi College and a lot more.
So, if you want to have success, you do not need to have higher degree or very good experience or money. All you need is strong dedication, success will follow.
