25,000 થી વધુ ફોલોઅર્સ સાથે ગિલો છકડાવાળો ફેસબુક અને ઇન્સ્ટાગ્રામ પર ધૂમ મચાવે છે. ગિલા એ રાજકોટમાં વૃક્ષો વાવવાનું શરુ કર્યું.થોડા વાવ્યા ત્યાં તો હાંફી જવાયું, બધા વૃક્ષોનું ધ્યાન રાખવું, પાણી, ખાતર આપવું, વાળ બાંધવી આ બધું તો ભાઈ સમય માંગી લે. અને રાજકોટમાં એટલી જગ્યા ક્યાં છે કે તમે વધ વૃક્ષો વાવી શકો..

ગીલાભાઇ તો હોશિયાર, કોઈ એ કીધું અને માની ગયા.. દરેક ફોલોઅરને ઘેર જઈ ને રોપ પોંહચાડી આવે. બધા પોતપોતાના ઝાડનું ધ્યાન તો રાખી જ શકે ને. અને ભાઈ નીકળી પડી, 400 થી વધુ ઝાડવાંઓ વાવી નાખ્યા અને આવતે વર્ષે 1000 નો ટાર્ગેટ.

My 25k plus followers know me by my nickname “Gilo Chhakdavado” and I share social messages on Instagram and Facebook.

I started tree plantation by myself in Rajkot for environment cause. Gradually, I realised that to take care of so many trees, watering them, feed them is a full time job itself.

One of my followers suggested me and I implemented the thought of giving a plant free of cost at my follower’s doorstep. The great idea worked with the help of social media. We have planted 400 trees across Rajkot and targeting 1000 trees next year.

One day I may have title of “Gilo Green chhakdavado”.
