#29, Modern Thinking

By Faces of Rajkot, May 29, 2015

“I have always lived a free life. I don’t want any restrictions and I don’t want to impose restrictions on my loved ones. And that’s why we separated our son when he got married. He can live with his wife and children and my husband and I can live ours.

But that doesn’t mean our love is less for each other. My daughter in law is very good. Whenever she cooks something different, she always comes and give it to us. Our grandchildren too love us very much. And of course, we spoil them being grandparents. We are always there for each other for any thick and thins. And our daughter is also happy at her husband’s place. They do have a joint family but she is well adjusted.

There are advantages of a joint family but we are what we are.”

We were flabbergasted at her thinking process.
